Are you graduating this year?

Anonymous

I am indeed. Graduating on May 10th. That’s partly why I’ve been so busy and unable to give this blog the full attention it deserves.

I’ll still be living in Denton after that, and more able to photograph people away from the UNT campus.

Alexandra Lucas.
The other day when Erin & I were standing in line at Denton Thrift, she recognized the girl in front of us as x_andra_ from Instagram, and said hello.
Today, Erin asked her if she’d like to meet us on the Square to photograph her for People of Denton. I’m glad she did. This girl is hands down the best black & white instagrammer in Denton. Check out her stuff.

Clery & Edwin.
Edwin likes musical theater. Clery was busy chewing on an Airhead, thinking of what’s interesting about himself.
They’d just gone to the comic book store and Atomic Candy.
"Candy & comics, that’s a good combo."

Foots & Poodle.
When I approached Foots to ask if I could take his photo, his dog ran up to me. Then he patted his shoulder, and Poodle jumped right up and started licking his face.
He said he was in California just a couple days ago, and managed to hitch a ride all the way to Denton. He was in town for a Rainbow Gathering out in east Texas over the next few days.
"How are you liking Denton so far?""Pretty good. I’m been playing guitar here most of the day and no one’s kicked me out yet."

I can't wait for you to get more around Denton because I'm curious if you'll manage to talk my dad into a photo. It would be a good laugh for me since he's infamous for avoiding pictures and I've been missing him since I had to move to San Antonio.

What does he look like? I’ll try to keep an eye out for him.
